THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SENT OUT YESTERDAY. HOWEVER, THE MESSAGE IS PERFECT FOR EVERYDAY.
You might think, “I do not want to read or hear about cancer when this is a season of joy, family, food, and gratefulness. THOSE ARE THE VERY REASONS WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT CANCER AS WE PREPARE FOR THE HOLIDAYS.

Wishing you each a blessed Thanksgiving filled with love, compassion, peace, and gratitude.
Beautiful reflection through your tankas. Thank you for sharing, Karen. My doctor explained, “We all have cancer calls. We need to do what we can to keep the cells from multiplying.” Lifestyle, diet, attitude, genetics–all have an impact. Thank you for reminding us to embrace gratitude for the moments. ❤️

We all do have cancer cells. It is not fully understood why they become rogue. Yes, lifestyle, diet, environment, etc. are factors, but they are not the only reasons. Yet, they are beneficial in many respects even when one has contracted cancer. Through research, the cause(s) will be discovered.
