FIREWORKS

WHEN SOMEONE IN THE U.S.A. THINKS OF FIREWORKS, ONE THINKS OF INDEPENDENCE DAY…THE FOURTH OF JULY. THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS COURTESY OF https://www.fireworkscrazy.co.uk/fireworks-around-the-world/

IN JAPAN, THERE IS THE SUMIDAGAWA FESTIVAL WHICH CAN BE DATED BACK TO 1732. IT IS A PYROTECHNIC COMPETITION.

THERE IS THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS IN INDIA, WHICH LASTS 4 DAYS AND DATES BACK TO 500 TO 1000 AD. FOR THE HINDUS IT IS CELEBRATING LIGHT OVER DARKNESS.

IN PERU, AND OTHER SOUTH AMERICAN COUNTRIES, FIREWORKS ARE DISPLAYED ON CHRISTMAS DAY.

FIREWORKS ARE DISPLAYED AT THE END OF RAMADAN IN DUBAI AND SOME SURROUNDING COUNTRIES.

FIREWORKS SYMBOLIZE HAPPINESS, CELEBRATION, AND NEWS OF WEALTH (http://weknowyourdreams.com/fireworks.html)

We were married on the 4th of July because we wanted it to be a day of joy and celebration…and news of wealth in the form of love. Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband, best friend, and soul-mate.

WISHING YOU EAC A SAFE AND JOYOUS 4TH OF JULY!

    1. Thank you, Miriam. It was a great day in that we visited our daughter’s new home in Naples, FL. Had a great Italian dinner at a charming little restaurant. Thank you.

  2. My goodness, Karen, happy anniversary! How wonderful to have fireworks to honor your wedding vows! My sister married on New Year’s Eve for a similar reason. Thank you for sharing! I’m sending big hugs. ✨💕✨
